U.S. Credit Repair Specialist

Job Overview

Our client is looking for a U.S, Credit Repair Specialist to manage the end-to-end dispute process for active clients by preparing dispute letters, monitoring credit reports, and ensuring all disputes are processed accurately and on time. This role requires strong knowledge of U.S. credit repair practices, consumer protection regulations, and dispute sequencing strategies. You will work independently to manage multiple client files while maintaining organized records, tracking progress, and communicating professionally through written correspondence. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who understands the credit repair industry and can confidently handle sensitive financial information with accuracy and discretion.

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM or 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM EST (20 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Manage and process timely rounds of dispute letters for all active clients, ensuring no files become overdue
  • Draft and customize dispute letters based on each client's unique credit profile and the appropriate sequence of disputes
  • File and manage FTC reports and CFPB complaints on behalf of clients as needed
  • Process disputes with secondary bureaus including Clarity Services, LexisNexis, Innovis, and ChexSystems consumer disclosure reports
  • Monitor client credit monitoring services and proactively follow up when accounts are inactive or payments have lapsed
  • Maintain organized client records and track dispute progress to ensure consistent and timely results

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in U.S. credit repair, including familiarity with the three major bureaus (Experian, Equifax, TransUnion)
  • Working knowledge of Metro 2 compliance, USC codes, and consumer protection law
  • Understanding of the proper sequencing and strategy behind dispute letter rounds
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple client files simultaneously
  • Excellent written communication skills for drafting professional dispute correspondence
