Marketing Assistant
Overview
Support a specialized Australian psychology practice in launching a transformative online course designed for women navigating post-mastectomy recovery. As a Marketing Assistant, you will bridge the gap between clinical expertise and patient outreach by transforming complex healthcare concepts into engaging copy and managing a vibrant social media presence. This role is essential in scaling a second business venture, providing the strategic marketing and administrative support needed to promote high-quality online education to a global community.
Schedule:
- Part-time (25 hours/week), Monday to Friday, 9am to 2pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST)
Responsibilities
- Create and edit copy for sales pages, email campaigns, and marketing materials related to online course offerings.
- Manage social media posting by editing video content, adding subtitles, and scheduling posts across platforms.
- Set up and monitor email marketing campaigns within the client's existing email system.
- Establish and manage Facebook groups for course participants and community engagement.
- Provide general virtual assistant support for administrative tasks related to both the online course business and the private practice as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in copywriting for sales pages and email marketing campaigns.
- Demonstrated social media management skills including content editing, subtitle addition, and post scheduling.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to understand and translate clinical healthcare concepts into accessible marketing content.
- Nice-to-Have: Experience working with healthcare or wellness industry clients.
- Nice-to-Have: Familiarity with online course platforms and community management tools.
