Business Development Representative (AV & Low Voltage)

Job Overview

Our client is looking for a driven Business Development Representative to support an AV and low voltage systems company specializing in installations for corporate offices, churches, and schools. Services include Wi-Fi systems, security cameras, TVs, and full AV infrastructure solutions.

This is a high-volume outbound sales and lead generation role focused on identifying new business opportunities, booking appointments, and building a consistent pipeline of qualified prospects.

The ideal candidate is proactive, highly persistent, and confident engaging decision-makers in a competitive B2B environment.

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM PST (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-volume cold calling and outbound prospecting to generate new business opportunities
  • Identify and research target companies in corporate, education, and religious sectors
  • Reach and engage decision-makers while navigating gatekeepers effectively
  • Execute multi-touch outreach campaigns (calls, emails, follow-ups)
  • Build and maintain accurate lead lists and prospect databases
  • Identify relevant RFP opportunities and support proposal submissions
  • Re-engage past clients and maintain ongoing client communication
  • Develop outreach strategies to generate consultations and booked appointments
  • Manage activity tracking using Google Sheets or CRM systems

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales development, and lead generation.
  • Proven experience in cold calling and outbound prospecting
  • Demonstrated ability to reach decision-makers and handle gatekeepers
  • Excellent English communication skills and strong phone presence
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong persistence and consistency in high-volume outreach environments

Nice-to-Have Requirements

  • Experience with RFP (Request for Proposal) processes and contract bidding
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Background in AV, technology, or installation services
  • Experience with sales dialers and lead generation tools
