Paid Media Specialist – Meta & Native Ads

Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and performance-driven Media Buyer to lead paid acquisition efforts across Meta, AppLovin, and native advertising platforms such as Taboola and Outbrain.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced ecommerce environment and has a strong track record of scaling winning campaigns through data-driven optimization, creative testing, and strategic media buying.

You will play a key role in driving profitable growth by managing large advertising budgets, identifying scaling opportunities, and collaborating closely with creative teams to continuously improve campaign performance.

Schedule: Flexible within 12 PM to 12 AM PH time


Key Responsibilities

Paid Media Management

  • Manage and scale paid advertising campaigns across:
    • Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram) – primary platform
    • AppLovin
    • Native advertising platforms such as Taboola and Outbrain
  • Monitor campaign performance daily and optimize for profitability and scale
  • Allocate budgets strategically to maximize ROAS and efficiency

Campaign Testing & Optimization

  • Launch, test, and iterate campaigns, creatives, audiences, and funnels
  • Develop and execute creative testing frameworks to identify winning ad concepts
  • Analyze campaign data and performance trends to make informed optimization decisions
  • Identify performance bottlenecks and proactively implement solutions

Performance Analysis & Reporting

  • Track and optimize key performance metrics including:
    • CPA (Cost Per Acquisition)
    • ROAS (Return on Ad Spend)
    • MER (Marketing Efficiency Ratio)
    • CTR (Click-Through Rate)
    • Hook Rate and engagement metrics
  • Prepare regular performance reports and actionable insights
  • Use data to forecast scaling opportunities and manage risk during campaign expansion

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with the creative team to develop high-performing ad concepts and iterations
  • Collaborate with marketing and ecommerce teams to align acquisition strategies with business goals
  • Provide feedback on creative performance, audience behavior, and market trends

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing and scaling large paid media budgets ($50K–$100K+ daily ad spend)
  • Strong hands-on expertise with:
    • Meta Ads Manager (required)
    • At least ONE of the following:
      • AppLovin
      • Taboola
      • Outbrain
  • Deep understanding of:
    • Direct response marketing
    • Ecommerce customer acquisition
    • Creative testing methodologies
    • Performance optimization strategies
  • Highly analytical with strong data interpretation and decision-making skills
  • Experience working with performance creative teams and iterative ad testing
  • Strong understanding of scaling strategies while maintaining profitability
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, performance-focused environment

Preferred Candidate

  • Has successfully scaled winning ecommerce products through paid acquisition
  • Combines strong analytical thinking with creative intuition
  • Understands both media buying and performance creative strategy
  • Proactive, results-driven, and highly accountable
  • Comfortable making fast decisions based on performance data
  • Experienced in identifying trends, testing new opportunities, and adapting quickly to platform changes
