Job Description

As a Social Media Assistant, you will take ownership of the company’s social media presence and online marketing activities. You will create engaging content, manage advertising campaigns, and maintain the company website to ensure a strong and consistent digital presence.

You’ll collaborate with the team to align campaigns with seasonal promotions, tourism offerings, and customer engagement initiatives while helping drive visibility and bookings through social media platforms.

Responsibilities

Social Media Management

  • Plan, create, and schedule engaging content across Instagram and Facebook
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all digital channels
  • Monitor engagement, respond to interactions as needed, and track audience growth

Digital Advertising

  • Develop and execute social media advertising campaigns to attract new customers
  • Optimize audience targeting and campaign performance to improve engagement and reach
  • Monitor ad performance metrics and provide reporting insights

Website & Content Updates

  • Manage and update the company website with accurate and current information
  • Support seasonal promotions and special campaign launches through digital updates
  • Ensure online content reflects current offerings and business priorities

Marketing Collaboration

  • Work closely with the team to align content with tourism experiences and promotions
  • Support broader online visibility and brand awareness initiatives
  • Consolidate social media and advertising efforts previously handled by multiple team members

Requirements

  • Experience managing social media accounts for a business
  • Strong content creation and visual storytelling skills
  • Understanding of social media advertising and audience targeting
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of digital marketing responsibilities

Preferred:

  • Experience in tourism, hospitality, travel, or experience-based businesses
  • Familiarity with website content management systems
