Overview:
Our client runs a growing e-commerce company operating across multiple websites. They require a dedicated professional to manage complex financial records and handle significant revenue fluctuations as the business scales. We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to initially lead a catch-up project for 2025 financial records. This is a long-term position that will transition into ongoing financial maintenance and operational support to ensure the business remains tax-compliant and organized.
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week with flexible hours; must be available for meetings during EST business hours (12:00 NN – 9:00 PM)
Responsibilities:
- Perform catch-up bookkeeping for 2025 to bring all financial records up to date
- Maintain accurate and timely recording of all business transactions on an ongoing basis
- Reconcile accounts across multiple platforms to ensure financial data integrity
- Support tax preparation by keeping organized and compliant financial record
- Generate regular financial reports to provide clear visibility into business performance
- Assist with light administrative and operational tasks to maximize business productivity
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper, preferably supporting US-based businesses
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and/or Xero is essential
- Demonstrated experience with catch-up or back-dated bookkeeping projects
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Bonus if you have prior exposure to the e-commerce industry
- It helps if you can work independently with minimal daily supervision
