Job Overview

We are seeking a data-driven and highly creative Growth Marketing Specialist to lead user acquisition, engagement, and retention initiatives for a fast-growing technology product. This role is ideal for a marketer who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and has hands-on experience executing multi-channel growth campaigns for software, SaaS, AI, productivity, or creator-focused products.

The ideal candidate combines analytical thinking with strong creative instincts and can independently manage growth experiments, campaign execution, audience segmentation, and performance optimization across multiple digital channels.

This is a fully remote role requiring strong ownership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and leadership teams.

Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday, 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM PST (40 work hours per week)

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute growth marketing strategies focused on user acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention
  • Identify and refine high-potential audience segments through user research, surveys, funnel analysis, and experimentation
  • Plan, launch, and optimize campaigns across:
    • Paid social
    • Search advertising
    • Email marketing
    • Organic social media
    • Influencer and affiliate programs
    • Strategic partnerships
  • Conduct A/B testing and channel experiments to improve campaign performance and conversion metrics
  • Analyze marketing and product performance data to generate actionable insights and recommendations
  • Collaborate with product, design, and leadership teams to align messaging, positioning, and go-to-market initiatives
  • Develop campaign messaging, creative hooks, offers, and content angles tailored to different audience segments
  • Manage and coordinate external contributors including creators, affiliates, agencies, and distribution partners
  • Build and maintain content calendars for launches, social campaigns, email initiatives, and promotional activities
  • Monitor campaign KPIs, attribution reporting, and funnel performance to optimize marketing ROI
  • Assist with lifecycle marketing initiatives including onboarding, retention, and re-engagement campaigns
  • Prepare campaign assets and coordinate launch execution across marketing channels

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in growth marketing, performance marketing, lifecycle marketing, or digital marketing
  • Proven success driving user acquisition and retention through structured experimentation and campaign optimization
  • Strong understanding of audience segmentation, user research methodologies, and funnel analysis
  • Hands-on experience managing:
    • Paid social campaigns
    • Search advertising
    • Email marketing platforms
    • Organic social media initiatives
    • Influencer or affiliate programs
    • Partnership marketing campaigns
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to interpret campaign performance data and derive actionable insights
  • Experience developing messaging strategies, creative direction, and content positioning for multiple audience segments
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced remote environment
  • Familiarity with marketing analytics platforms, CRM systems, attribution tools, and advertising dashboards

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience marketing AI, SaaS, productivity, or creator-focused products
  • Background in lifecycle marketing, onboarding optimization, or retention strategy
  • Experience briefing designers, creators, or creative teams
  • Familiarity with iterative ad creative testing and performance-based optimization
  • Prior experience working in early-stage startups or high-growth environments
