About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and professional Administrative Assistant with a Legal Background to provide day-to-day support to a lawyer and assist with administrative and client-facing responsibilities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and possesses excellent communication skills with the ability to manage tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
This role requires someone who is confident handling sensitive information, communicating professionally with clients, and supporting legal operations with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage emails on behalf of the lawyer
- Respond to client inquiries and provide professional follow-up communication
- Schedule meetings, appointments, and calendar activities
- Assist with legal administrative tasks and document organization
- Prepare, review, and organize legal correspondence and files
- Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality of information
- Coordinate with clients and external parties as needed
- Support daily operational and administrative tasks
- Prioritize urgent matters and escalate important issues when necessary
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant, Executive Assistant, or Legal Assistant
- Background or experience working in a legal environment is required
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Fluent English communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- High attention to detail and professionalism
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Comfortable working independently and proactively
- Strong email management and customer communication skills
- Proficiency with common office and communication tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, etc.)
Preferred Location
To ensure schedule alignment and responsiveness, candidates should ideally be located within or near the Eastern Time Zone, including:
