Job Overview

Our client, a senior care agency, is looking for a creative and proactive Healthcare Social Media & Administrative Coordinator to lead their digital presence and support operational workflows. In this role, you will be the driving force behind the brand’s social media strategy—managing everything from content creation and organic growth to community engagement. Beyond digital marketing, you will serve as a vital operational link by coordinating caregiver scheduling and handling urgent staffing updates. This position is ideal for a self-directed professional who can balance high-level creative strategy with the organized, fast-paced nature of healthcare administration.

Schedule

  • Friday - Tuesday, 12:00 AM - 8:30 AM EST, with a 30-minute unpaid break (40 hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Social Media Ownership: Lead the end-to-end process for content creation, scheduling, and publishing across all social media channels.
  • Brand Strategy: Develop and maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity specifically tailored for the senior care industry.
  • Organic Growth: Implement strategies to increase audience engagement, grow followership, and strengthen community awareness without heavy supervision.
  • Community Engagement: Monitor and professionally respond to comments, messages, and interactions to build trust with families and caregivers.
  • Systems Optimization: Recommend and implement modern content scheduling tools and workflows to replace manual processes and improve efficiency.
  • Operational Support: Handle caregiver call-off coordination and manage urgent scheduling changes to ensure continuity of care.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure all social media content and communications adhere to healthcare privacy standards and brand guidelines.

Requirements

  • Professional Experience: Proven experience managing social media accounts independently for a business or agency.
  • Content Mastery: Strong copywriting skills and basic visual or video editing capabilities for social platforms.
  • Strategic Autonomy: Demonstrated ability to develop and execute digital strategies without constant oversight.
  • Digital Literacy: Familiarity with organic growth tactics, audience engagement best practices, and scheduling software.
  • Healthcare Compliance: HIPAA awareness is required; a willingness to complete official HIPAA compliance training is essential.
  • Creativity & Initiative: A high level of initiative and a willingness to contribute original, "out-of-the-box" ideas to strengthen brand reach.

Qualifications

  • Experience in the senior care or healthcare sector is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work a non-traditional schedule (Friday–Tuesday, overnight EST).
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle urgent administrative tasks alongside creative projects.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset, particularly regarding logistics and staffing.
