Job Overview
We are looking for a proactive, QBO-savvy Accountant to take full ownership of client financial health through precise bookkeeping and insightful reporting. This is a high-impact role for a client-focused "go-getter" who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at working independently.

Schedule: Must be open to working Eastern Standard Time (EST) business hours.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain accurate bookkeeping records in QuickBooks Online (QBO)
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and financial statements
• Prepare and review financial reports, including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
• Identify discrepancies and proactively resolve accounting issues
• Communicate directly with clients regarding financial questions, missing documentation, and reporting updates
• Provide thoughtful insights and recommendations based on client financial data
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of deliverables
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
• Maintain organized and accurate financial records
• Collaborate with internal teams and support process improvements when needed

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Accountant or Bookkeeper with strong QuickBooks Online expertise
• Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Excellent communication and client management skills
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities
• Highly proactive with a strong sense of urgency and accountability
• Ability to work independently and take full ownership of assigned accounts
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
• Comfortable managing multiple clients and priorities in a fast-paced environment
