Role Overview:
This role focuses on marketing operations, customer communications, and content management. Key responsibilities include writing and updating marketing materials (brochures, presentations, newsletters, web content), coordinating website development, and managing customer email responses. The position also involves CRM research, setup, and maintenance, as well as building targeted contact databases. Additionally, the role uses AI tools for content production—such as generating transcripts, replacing voiceovers, and updating tutorial videos.
Schedule:
- Mondays to Fridays, 1:00 to 5:00 pm (Australian Eastern Time, 20 hours per week)
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Marketing operations and customer-facing communications
- Content writing, editing, and updating across brochures, presentations, newsletters, web pages, and sales materials
- Website coordination, including working with web developers to build, improve, and maintain the company website
- Customer email response handled in a professional, helpful, and timely manner
- CRM research, setup, structuring, and ongoing maintenance
- Research and database building, including contact list development for target industries and regions
- AI-assisted content production, including transcript generation, voiceover replacement, and tutorial/video updating
- General business systems support involving platforms such as Stripe, Xero, FastSpring, and Microsoft Office
Examples of Typical Tasks:
- Update marketing materials, presentations, web content, and product information
- Work with web developers on content changes, new pages, structure, and ongoing maintenance
- Respond to customer and prospect emails and maintain clear communication records where needed
- Research target companies such as shade businesses in the USA and build structured contact databases
- Assess the most suitable CRM for the business, help implement it, then maintain records, pipelines, notes, and workflows
- Extract audio from tutorial videos, convert speech to text, update scripts, generate revised voiceovers using ElevenLabs or similar tools, and produce updated videos
Required Strengths:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Content writing and editing ability
- Confidence working with web developers and website content
- CRM and systems capability
- Strong research and structured data skills
- Good Microsoft Office skills, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to work independently and bring order to a varied workload
