Job Overview
Our client is looking for a Home Care Scheduling Coordinator who will play a critical role in supporting daily scheduling operations by coordinating caregiver coverage, managing real-time staffing changes, and ensuring seamless communication between caregivers, families, and internal teams. This role requires a highly organized and dependable professional who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while handling sensitive information with discretion. You will assist with scheduling coordination, administrative support, and operational follow-through to help maintain continuity of care and smooth day-to-day operations.
Schedule

Friday - Tuesday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM EST, with 30 min unpaid break (40 work hours per week)
Responsibilities
- Manage real-time schedule changes by coordinating caregiver call-offs and finding qualified replacements
- Communicate with caregivers, families, and internal staff to ensure seamless shift coverage and transparency
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date scheduling records across all active client accounts
- Handle inbound calls and respond promptly to urgent staffing changes during assigned shifts
- Support the onsite scheduling team with handoff documentation and shift transition updates
- Assist with general administrative tasks as the role evolves and new processes are built out
Requirements
- Prior experience in an administrative or scheduling coordination role
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for client- and caregiver-facing interactions
- High level of attention to detail and organizational ability
- HIPAA awareness or willingness to complete HIPAA compliance training
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment under time-sensitive conditions
- Comfortable handling sensitive personal and medical information with discretion
