Job Overview
Our client is looking for a proactive SaaS Sales Development Representative to join their team. This role focuses on building and executing an outbound calling channel as a new sales avenue for the business, contributing to early-stage growth by establishing a repeatable sales process.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM ACST (20 work hours per week)
Responsibilities
- Conduct high-volume outbound cold calls to prospective clients to introduce invoice automation solutions
- Deliver a clear and compelling pitch that communicates product value to potential customers
- Qualify prospects and schedule appointments for the sales team to progress through the sales cycle
- Maintain accurate records of call activity, outcomes, and follow-up tasks
- Send follow-up emails and outreach messages to nurture and re-engage prospects
- Collaborate with founders to refine messaging, scripts, and target prospect lists
- Provide feedback on common objections and market responses to help refine the sales strategy
- Track and report on daily call volumes, appointments set, and conversion metrics
Requirements
- Proven experience in outbound sales, telemarketing, or appointment setting, preferably within SaaS
- Professional verbal communication skills
- High level of resilience and comfort with cold calling and handling objections
- Prior experience working with Australian or international clients is highly preferred
- Basic understanding of technology and accounting concepts
