Bookkeeper - NetSuite Experience
Client Overview
We are a startup operating in the medical technology and orthopedic implant distribution space. As we scale, we are strengthening our financial and operational systems using NetSuite to support invoicing, billing, inventory, and logistics coordination with hospitals and medical facilities across Australia.
We are now looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper & Accounts Payable Specialist to support our financial operations and help optimise our use of NetSuite as the business grows.
Role Overview
This is a part-time remote role requiring 20 hours per week, with a flexible schedule aligned within Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) business hours (Monday to Friday). The role is expected to grow into a full-time position as operations expand.
You will be responsible for managing bookkeeping, accounts payable, invoicing, inventory-related financial processes, and supporting operational workflows within NetSuite.
Schedule: 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, Flexible working hours aligned within AEST business hours
Responsibilities
- Manage bookkeeping and accounts payable functions using NetSuite
- Process invoicing and billing for orthopedic implant distribution to hospitals and medical facilities
- Maintain and update inventory records within NetSuite
- Create and manage purchase orders and Advanced Shipping Notices (ASNs) with logistics partners
- Ensure accurate and timely financial record-keeping across all transactions
- Support process improvements and optimisation of NetSuite workflows
- Coordinate with internal team members and external logistics partners as needed
- Maintain accuracy, consistency, and compliance in all financial operations
Requirements
- Proven experience using NetSuite (bookkeeping, invoicing, and inventory modules)
- Strong background in bookkeeping and accounts payable
- High attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management
- Strong organisational and time management skills
Nice to Have
- Experience in medical device, healthcare, or hospital supply distribution
- Familiarity with hospital billing and procurement processes
- Experience in logistics coordination or supply chain operations
- Previous exposure to startup or high-growth environments
