Job Overview
Bookkeeper responsible for managing day-to-day financial records for multiple client accounts across various industries. This role includes bank reconciliations, transaction categorization, month-end close processes, and client communication using QuickBooks Online and Xero. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to work independently while ensuring accuracy across all financial data.
Schedule: 9am to 5pm EST Florida Time (Flexible in this time)
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for approximately 20 client entities across multiple industries
- Perform bank reconciliations, transaction categorization, and month-end close in QuickBooks and Xero
- Communicate directly with clients via email to request documentation and provide updates
- Support general administrative tasks and internal tracking
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial records across all client accounts
Requirements:
- Proficiency in both QuickBooks Online and Xero
- 3–5+ years of bookkeeping experience supporting multiple clients
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Excellent written communication skills for client correspondence
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
