Xero - Bookkeeper

Bookkeeper

Bookkeeper responsible for handling daily financial operations, including transaction recording, bank reconciliations, payroll support, and maintaining accurate financial records in Xero. This role also supports month-end processes and prepares financial spreadsheets using Excel or Google Sheets. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in bookkeeping and accounting workflows.

Schedule: 8am to 5pm UK Time  (Flexible in this time)

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks in Xero including transaction recording and bank reconciliations
  • Prepare financial spreadsheets using Excel or Google Sheets
  • Support the finance team with overflow tasks during month-end
  • Assist with payroll preparation
  • Maintain organised financial records

Requirements:

  • 3–7 years of hands-on bookkeeping or accounting experience
  • Proficiency in Xero accounting software
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
