Our client is seeking a professional to provide essential administrative and bookkeeping support to the construction company's back-office operations. The position involves managing accounts administration, payroll processing, and general business support tasks. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and comfortable working with accounting software and financial documentation.

Client Overview

Our client is a well-established construction company with over 40 years of industry experience in New Zealand. The company specializes in general construction, brick and block work, and small-scale property developments.

Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM New Zealand Standard Time

Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts administration and maintain accurate financial records
  • Process payroll for company employees
  • Create and track purchase orders for construction materials and services
  • Perform general administrative duties including data entry and document management
  • Support the team with day-to-day operational tasks as needed

Requirements

  • Experience with accounts administration and bookkeeping tasks
  • Proficiency in payroll processing
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Nice-To-Have

  • Experience with accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks
  • Background working in construction or trades industry
