Senior Content and Marketing Manager

Job Overview

Our client is seeking a highly organized and strategic Content & Marketing Manager to lead marketing efforts across multiple brands and business divisions. You will own the entire content lifecycle—from high-level strategy and planning in Asana to hands-on copywriting and international export marketing. This role requires a blend of creative storytelling and operational discipline, as you will be responsible for managing a Marketing & Design Assistant while ensuring all campaigns, events, and digital assets align with brand standards and international compliance obligations.

Schedule

  • Flexible during client business hours (SYD) (20 hours per week) 

Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Planning: Own the content calendar across multiple brands; manage the Asana content board; develop monthly and quarterly plans for leadership approval.
  • Copywriting & Creation: Write social media captions, Mailchimp EDMs, blogs, and long-form website content via WordPress and Squarespace; draft personal brand content for senior leadership.
  • International Export Marketing: Lead marketing activity aligned with grant compliance; develop market-specific pitch decks and digital campaigns; research international partners and distributors.
  • Events & Campaigns: Lead promotional activity for events and product-based campaigns; manage event listings and coordinate collaborative promotions with external partners.
  • Digital Marketing: Manage social media channels (Instagram and LinkedIn); oversee client onboarding materials and digital asset management.
  • Team Management: Directly manage the Marketing & Design Assistant, providing clear written briefs, feedback, and quality control on all creative deliverables.
  • Analytics: Produce monthly performance reports, track KPIs, and use data insights to optimize campaign performance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in marketing management, content strategy, or a senior copywriting role.
  • Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to adapt tone for different brands and platforms.
  • Strong experience in international marketing or managing marketing activities for grant compliance.
  • Proficiency in digital tools including Asana, Mailchimp, WordPress, Squarespace, and social media platforms.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing creative teams or assistants.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

  • Experience in export marketing or international business development (Preferred).
  • Familiarity with grant reporting and milestone documentation (Preferred).
