Business Development Representative

Overview

Join a fast-paced team focused on revolutionizing how UK recruitment agencies leverage AI and SEO. As a high-energy Appointment Setter, you will drive growth by identifying pain points and booking strategic consultations for our cutting-edge SaaS and search solutions. THIS ROLE COMES WITH COMMISSIONS! 

Schedule: Full-time (40+ hours per week) aligned to UK business hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct high-volume outbound cold calls to UK-based recruitment agencies to generate qualified leads and book consultation appointments
  • Deliver a concise, scripted hook centred on AI search visibility gaps to uncover prospect pain points
  • Perform fact-finding during initial conversations to gather key information for the sales consultation handover
  • Execute targeted LinkedIn outreach and email pre-call sequences to warm prospects ahead of phone contact
  • Maintain detailed call notes, activity logs, and lead records within the CRM to ensure accurate pipeline tracking
  • Adapt call timing strategies to maximise contact rates with decision makers across different times of day

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in outbound B2B telesales or appointment setting with demonstrable high call volumes
  • Business-level English proficiency suitable for the UK market
  • Strong resilience and tenacity with the ability to handle consistent rejection and maintain daily call targets
  • Highly coachable with a willingness to follow prescribed scripts and adjust approach based on feedback
  • Self-reflective with the ability to review own call recordings and independently identify areas for improvement
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to command attention in the first few seconds of a call
