Overview

A large portion of our website structure and content is already completed, and we are looking for a detail-oriented SEO expert to review the current setup and identify areas for improvement. You will handle the backend SEO optimization and implementation, managing technical setups like schema and indexing to boost organic rankings and overall site performance.

Schedule:

• Flexible from 8 am to 6 pm PST | Part-time: 4 hrs/day. 20 hrs/week
• Job Type: 3 months (Project-Based)

Responsibilities:

• Optimize website performance for search engines, ensuring strong visibility and improved organic rankings
• Set up, manage, and refine schema markup to enhance search engine understanding and rich result eligibility
• Monitor and manage website indexing to ensure proper crawlability and resolve any indexing issues
• Implement and support backlink strategies to strengthen domain authority and improve SEO performance
• Review, edit, and optimize existing SEO copy to improve keyword relevance, clarity, and search performance
• Audit current SEO setup, identify gaps or issues, and implement necessary corrections and ongoing improvements

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in SEO with a strong focus on WordPress websites
• Solid understanding of technical SEO, including site structure, indexing, crawling, and schema implementation
• Knowledge of local SEO strategies and best practices for improving location-based search visibility
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to spot issues and ensure high-quality outputs
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision while managing tasks efficiently
• Comfortable reviewing, editing, and improving AI-assisted or AI-generated content to meet SEO standards and brand quality
• Strong research skills with the ability to stay updated on SEO trends and apply best practices effectively
