Senior Paid Media Specialist

Job Overview

Our client is looking for a highly experienced and results-driven Senior Paid Media Specialist to manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns across search and social platforms. We are seeking a strategic thinker with strong hands-on experience in Google Ads and Meta Ads who can confidently oversee campaign strategy, conversion tracking, and reporting for multiple brands. This is a part-time remote role ideal for someone who has successfully managed medium-to-large ad budgets and can demonstrate a track record of measurable campaign success.

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday, 08:00 AM - 5:00 PM QLD Time (20 hours per week) Note: Hours are flexible during Queensland business hours.

Responsibilities

  • Campaign Management: Manage and optimize Google Ads (Search-focused) and Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram) campaigns across multiple accounts.
  • Optimization: Monitor daily performance and implement strategies to improve conversion outcomes and overall ROI.
  • Tracking & Analytics: Configure and optimize Google Tag Manager (GTM), Google Analytics, and Facebook Pixel events to ensure accurate data collection.
  • Reporting: Analyze campaign data to provide actionable recommendations and present performance reports to the marketing team.
  • Strategy: Collaborate with the team to identify opportunities for campaign growth and lead generation.
  • Data Integrity: Manage conversion tracking and event setup to ensure every marketing dollar is accounted for.

Requirements

  • Paid Media Expertise: Proven experience handling both Google Ads (Search) and Meta Business Manager.
  • Technical Stack: Strong proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, and Facebook Pixel/Events creation.
  • Budget Experience: Previous experience handling monthly ad spends of approximately AUD 30,000–35,000 across multiple companies.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously and derive insights from complex data sets.
  • Accountability: Ability to present clear case studies or examples of previous campaign strategies and their specific conversion outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Senior-level expertise in paid media (Essential).
  • Experience with organic social media or content management (Preferred).
  • Experience supporting both paid and organic digital marketing initiatives (Preferred).
