Overview:
The client is a rapidly growing team of retail experts, hardware engineers, software developers, data scientists, and operations specialists who work together to support retailers across the globe. They are currently looking for a Data Specialist who is passionate about data accuracy and analysis, and who will play a crucial role in maintaining and analyzing customer data using various tools and technologies.
Schedule: Monday to Friday / Full-time - 40 Hours per week / 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Melbourne Time, with 1-hour unpaid break
Responsibilities:
- Maintain & monitor customer data to ensure accuracy
- Overlay analysis and settings using internal tools on customer data
- Validate and interpret client queries and data using tools like Excel, SQL and internal tools
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure data queries are resolved in a timely manner
Requirements:
- 2+ years relevant professional industry experience and a tertiary qualification in one of these domains: IT, engineering, mathematics or actuarial
- Experience querying data with SQL
- The ideal candidate should be a team player and have great attention to details
- Proficient in Excel and its features such as pivot table, lookup/match formulas and filters
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly organised, able to multitask and manage priority well in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with data visualisation tools and analytics platforms will be an advantage
