Job Overview

Our client is seeking a resilient and persuasive Business Development Representative to spearhead a geo-targeted pilot program. In this role, you will bridge the gap between traditional outbound prospecting and cutting-edge "Agent Tech." Your primary mission is to overcome the "AI Taboo" by providing a human connection that introduces small business owners to the ROI of 24/7 after-hours support, transitioning them into live interactions with an AI voice agent.

Schedule

  • Flexible between Monday - Friday, 08:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST (20 hours per week) 

Responsibilities

  • Outbound Prospecting: Conduct high-volume cold calling to small business owners (e.g., Roofers, HVAC contractors) to introduce LucroWorks.
  • Market Testing: Execute a geo-targeted sales strategy, focusing on specific cities and states to test market receptivity.
  • Consultative Selling: Educate business owners on the cost-efficiency of AI-driven support versus traditional answering services.
  • Lead Qualification: Qualify prospects based on their current after-hours handling and address common objections using provided scripts.
  • Funnel Management: Manage top-of-funnel activity and track call-to-demo conversion rates to benchmark the pilot program’s success.
  • Human-to-AI Transition: Provide the essential human touchpoint that leads prospects into a live interaction with the AI voice agent.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in B2B outbound prospecting, Business Development (BDR), or cold calling within the Tech and SaaS industries.
  • Resilient mindset capable of high-volume dialing and navigating gatekeepers or IVR systems.
  • Excellent communication with a professional, persuasive, and approachable phone presence.
  • Tech-savvy enough to navigate lead lists and utilize tools like Apollo for outreach.
  • Ability to work effectively in a part-time capacity during US business hours (EST/CST).
