Job Overview

Our client is looking for experienced Insurance Eligibility Specialists to join their team. The ideal candidates have prior call center experience, are familiar with insurance processes, and can efficiently handle eligibility and authorization tasks using various insurance portals.

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST, with 1 hour unpaid break (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls related to insurance eligibility and authorizations
  • Verify patient coverage and benefits
  • Submit and follow up on prior authorizations
  • Navigate multiple insurance portals to gather necessary information
  • Accurately document calls and maintain records in internal systems
  • Communicate effectively with providers, patients, and internal teams
  • Resolve insurance-related inquiries in a timely and professional manner

Requirements

  • Prior call center experience, preferably in healthcare or insurance
  • Knowledge of insurance eligibility, authorizations, and claims processes
  • Experience using insurance portals and EHR/CRM systems
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
