Appointment Setter - B2C Cold Calling (Financial Planning/Life Insurance)
Job Overview:
Our client is seeking a motivated Appointment Setter to join a growing financial planning and life insurance firm. You will be responsible for executing high-volume outbound calls, utilizing a proven script to book qualified appointments for our financial planners. The ideal candidate handles rejection well, communicates clearly, and maintains a professional, energetic demeanor to engage a diverse range of potential clients.
Schedule:

Monday to Thursday, 9 AM to 1 or 2 PM Eastern Standard Time (4 to 5 hours per day)
Responsibilities:

Conduct outbound cold calls to a provided list of leads for life insurance and mortgage protection services.

Effectively use a pre-written script to qualify prospects and schedule appointments for the financial planner.

Manage and overcome objections, demonstrating resilience and a positive attitude in the face of rejection.

Maintain a professional, energetic, and non-pushy communication style during all interactions.

Engage and resonate with a broad demographic of potential clients, ranging from their late twenties to 75 years old, including newer homeowners.

Collaborate with the financial planner to ensure a smooth handover of scheduled appointments.
Requirements:

Mid-level experience (2-5 years) in B2C cold calling or appointment setting is required.

Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to connect easily with various target audiences.

Proven ability to handle rejection and maintain motivation in a high-volume calling environment.

Knows how to maintain a professional and energetic phone presence without being overly pushy.

Comfortable working with a provided script and adapting to different client demographics.

Has a reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace for making calls.
