Work Schedule: Flexible within client's business hours | Mountain Time

Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate quantity takeoffs for various flooring products including carpet tile, floor tile, baseboards, and transitions from tender documents and finish lists
• Handle a high volume of estimates, completing approximately 30 to 40 smaller project takeoffs per week
• Manage large-scale multi-family project estimates that require detailed, multi-day analysis
• Review and interpret architectural drawings and finish schedules to ensure all specified products are accounted for
• Communicate proactively with the team when clarification is needed on project specifications or scope
• Maintain organized records of all estimates to support efficient project tracking and verification

Requirements:

• Proven experience in construction takeoff estimating, with a strong understanding of flooring materials and installation methods
• Proficiency with Estimate All and Measure Square estimating software
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, tender documents, and finish lists
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy across high-volume and high-value projects

Scope:

• Projects range from approximately $30,000 CAD to $6,000,000 CAD in floor coverings
• Full-time position, Monday to Friday, with the possibility of starting part-time during an initial evaluation period
• Remote role supporting a Canadian-based flooring division within a multi-company group
• Will begin with smaller projects for accuracy verification before progressing to larger, more complex estimates
• Software licenses for estimating tools will be provided by the client
• Expected to follow established rules and guidelines set by the flooring division for product application standards
