Social Media Specialist (Financial Services)

Job Overview

Are you a creative storyteller with a talent for digital marketing and lead generation? We are looking for a proactive Social Media Specialist to join our State Farm insurance agency in Seattle. In this role, you will be the digital voice of our office, helping us protect families and build relationships within our local community through high-impact content and strategic engagement.

Schedule:(20 hours per week / 4 hours per day), flexible between 8:00 AM and 6:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation & Strategy: Create and schedule 5 engaging posts per week across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
  • Video Production: Transform raw video footage into polished, professional social media assets (Reels, TikToks, and Video Ads).
  • Community Management: Actively manage engagement by responding promptly to comments, messages, and inquiries to build trust with potential clients.
  • Lead Generation: Strategically guide interested prospects toward contacting the office and coordinate lead flow with our sales team.
  • Paid Advertising: Design, execute, and optimize paid ad campaigns across Meta and other social platforms to drive growth.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Use Meta Business Suite and other analytics tools to track performance metrics and drive continuous strategy improvements.
  • Timing & Engagement: Schedule content for optimal engagement, particularly during early morning hours (7:00 AM – 8:00 AM Pacific).
  • Compliance & Branding: Ensure all digital content meets strict insurance industry compliance standards and follows State Farm brand guidelines.

Expertise Required

  • Proven Track Record: Experience managing social media for professional services (Insurance, Real Estate, or Finance experience is a major plus).
  • Video Editing Skills: Proficiency in tools like CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or Canva to create high-quality video content.
  • Ad Management: Hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager and paid social strategy.
  • Strategic Mindset: Ability to provide recommendations for platform-specific best practices and content optimization.
  • Communication: Exceptional written English with a professional yet approachable tone.
  • Detail-Oriented: A deep understanding of the importance of compliance and "letter-perfect" accuracy in a regulated industry.
