Job Overview
Our client is looking for a Medical Intake Coordinator to handle patient scheduling, documentation processing, and outreach while also supporting basic marketing efforts. Responsibilities
- Medical Documentation & Data Management: Complete and manage veteran disability assessment forms accurately; upload and maintain documentation in the designated portal; ensure all records are complete, organized, and compliant; and perform data entry to maintain accurate patient records.
- Patient Communication & Scheduling: Schedule patient appointments and manage calendars; handle inbound calls and patient inquiries professionally; and conduct outbound calls and text outreach to engage patients to encourage appointment bookings and follow-ups.
- Administrative Support: Assist with daily administrative tasks to support practice operations; maintain organized digital records and workflows; and support the provider with operational coordination.
- Marketing & Growth Support: Help maintain and grow social media presence; create and post basic patient-facing content; and support marketing initiatives to increase patient volume.
- Scope of Engagement: Initial focus on documentation and patient outreach with a transition to increased scheduling and admin workload as the practice grows; support both operations and marketing during lower activity periods while collaborating directly with the healthcare provider.
Requirements
- Experience in medical administration, healthcare support, or data entry
- Ability to quickly learn documentation processes and medical forms
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Close attention to detail, especially with medical records
- Comfortable managing social media accounts
