Job Overview
The client is a nonprofit organization seeking a high-level social media specialist to lead strategic initiatives that support our mission and drive membership growth. We are looking for more than just a strategist; we need a visual storyteller with the creative agility to interpret complex brand guidelines and translate them into high-impact designs. Whether you are promoting a community-based retail initiative or crafting a high-level philanthropic appeal, you must be able to build a visual narrative from scratch while maintaining our "North Star" brand identity.

Monday - Friday, Flexible hours within Eastern Standard Time zone (20 hours per week)
Responsibilities
- Innovative application of core brand guides into platform-specific designs; maintaining visual integrity while creatively adapting to unique campaign requirements.
- Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with organizational mission and membership sales objectives.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across LinkedIn, Instagram, and other relevant channels.
- Create, curate, and schedule organic content that clearly communicates the organization’s value proposition.
- Monitor metrics and pivot strategies based on data-driven insights to improve engagement and conversions.
- Develop varied content styles to support specific projects, such as our nonprofit grocery store initiative, targeting both local and donor audiences.
Requirements
- 5+ Years of Experience: A proven track record in social media management and digital marketing.
- Versatile Design Skills: Strong ability to move beyond "templated" looks; demonstrating the ability to apply brand guides to diverse scenarios (retail promotion vs. philanthropic appeals).
- Creative Problem Solving: Comfort in taking broad concepts and building a cohesive visual narrative from scratch.
- Strategic Growth Mindset: Deep understanding of organic growth strategies and how to adapt tone and messaging for a multi-faceted brand.
- Independence & Detail: Ability to manage multiple priorities with a high degree of autonomy and meticulous attention to detail.
