Job Overview
Our client is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Collections Specialist to support their property management operations. In this role, you’ll play a key part in maintaining healthy cash flow by managing tenant communications, resolving outstanding balances, and supporting property owners and brokers.

Monday - Friday, 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM EST (20 work hours per week)
Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound calls to tenants with overdue rental balances
- Follow up on Section 8 split payments to ensure full and timely collection
- Maintain accurate and detailed communication logs in the management system
- Negotiate payment plans with former tenants to recover outstanding debts
- Provide administrative support to property owners and brokers
- Manage daily outreach across a portfolio of ~700 units
- Identify and flag tenant concerns (e.g., maintenance issues) during calls
Requirements
- Proven experience in outbound calling and/or debt collection
- Professional verbal English communication and active listening skills
- Highly organized with attention to detail in administrative tasks
- Resilient and comfortable in a high-volume, repetitive call environment
- Ability to manage complex payment structures and multi-tenant accounts
