Apparel Production Graphic Designer
Overview
As a Graphic Designer for our apparel lines, you will serve as the essential link between creative concepts and physical production by transforming designs into polished, production-ready assets. This technical, high-volume role requires precision in creating garment mockups, performing complex color separations, and preparing embroidery proofs. By ensuring every file and product code is technically perfect, you will provide vital support to the design team and play a key role in maintaining flawless manufacturing standards.
Schedule:
- Mon-Friday, 35 hours/week 9AM-5PM or 8AM-4PM Pacific Standard Time with 1 hour unpaid break
Responsibilities
- Create polished sales presentation decks by mocking up designs on garments and compiling product codes for the sales team to present to clients
- Perform color separations for screen printing, breaking down artwork into individual color layers as separate production-ready files
- Prepare embroidery files and create realistic mockups of embroidered logos on apparel items for client proofs and approvals
- Support the in-house design team's workflow by handling high-volume production tasks to free up capacity for creative development
- Maintain brand consistency and quality standards across all visual assets produced for souvenir, custom apparel, and loungewear product lines
Requirements
- Proven experience in graphic design with a focus on apparel mockups, product presentations, and print-ready file preparation (APPLICATIONS WITH PORTFOLIOS WILL BE PRIORITIZED)
- Strong understanding of screen printing color separation techniques and embroidery file workflows
- High level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in design codes, garment codes, and file specifications
- Ability to work collaboratively within an existing team and follow established processes and SOPs
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
