Social Media Specialist
Overview
We are looking for a creative and proactive Social Media Specialist to build and lead our brand’s online presence from the ground up. You will manage website development, execute social media strategies, and drive marketing campaigns to help launch and grow our new business.
Schedule:
- Part-time (15–20 hours per week) with the potential to scale as the business grows.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage the client's website (Squarespace or similar platform)
- Create and schedule engaging content across Facebook and Instagram (with potential expansion to TikTok)
- Develop and execute a marketing campaign (including outreach to insurance brokers and other potential partners)
- Drive traffic and increase brand awareness across social platforms
- Assist with basic design, branding, and messaging for a new business launch
- Support with Google tools (Calendar, email coordination, basic organization of operations)
- Ensure consistent online presence and brand positioning
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in social media management and digital marketing (APPLICATIONS WITH PORTFOLIOS WILL BE PRIORITIZED)
- Experience with website builders (preferably Squarespace or similar)
- Strong content creation and marketing strategy skills
- Ability to work independently and deliver results in a startup environment
- Familiarity with service-based businesses is a plus
