Marketing Graphic Designer (Print & Digital)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and versatile Graphic Designer with proven experience in both print and digital marketing agency environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, a passion for creative storytelling, and the ability to transform concepts into visually engaging designs that align with the brand's identity. This role will involve collaborating with the marketing team to create high-impact designs for campaigns, advertising, in-store signage, social media, and more.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM Sydney, AU Time Zone (with 1 hour unpaid lunch)

Responsibilities:

Design & Development

  • Create visually compelling designs for both print (brochures, flyers, posters, in-store materials) and digital (social media ads, email marketing graphics, website banners, online campaigns)

  • Ensure all creative materials adhere to brand guidelines and convey a consistent visual identity

Campaign Support

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop design concepts for seasonal promotions, product launches, and special events

  • Prepare artwork for both digital upload and high-quality printing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with specifications

Content Adaptation

  • Adapt and resize creative assets for various platforms and formats

  • Repurpose designs for multiple marketing channels while maintaining design integrity

Collaboration & Workflow

  • Work closely with internal teams, photographers, copywriters, and external vendors

  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines without compromising quality

Innovation & Trends

  • Stay updated on current design trends, technologies, and industry best practices to keep creative output fresh and relevant

Requirements:

Technical Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of professional graphic design experience in both print and digital marketing agency environments
  • Proficiency in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects is a plus).

  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory

  • Knowledge of print production processes and preparing press-ready files

  • Familiarity with digital marketing asset creation for social media, email, and web

Soft Skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail and creativity

  • Strong time management and organizational skills

  • Ability to take constructive feedback and adapt designs accordingly

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field preferred (or equivalent professional experience)
