Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Insurance Verification Assistant with dental experience to support our team in verifying patient insurance coverage and ensuring accurate benefit information. The ideal candidate should have experience with dental insurance processes, be comfortable handling calls, and be proficient in using insurance portals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify dental insurance coverage, benefits, and eligibility for patients
- Contact insurance providers via phone and online portals
- Review and document coverage details, limitations, and co-pays
- Assist in pre-authorizations and claim-related inquiries
- Accurately enter and update patient insurance information in systems
- Communicate findings clearly with internal teams and/or patients
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in dental insurance verification or dental office operations
- Strong understanding of dental insurance plans, procedures, and terminology
- Experience with insurance portals and practice management systems
- Excellent communication and phone skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple verifications efficiently
