Our client is looking for a creative and tech-savvy Video Editor & Visual Content Specialist to support a growing freelance creative business based in Sydney. In this role, you will be the backbone of visual production, responsible for high-quality video editing and professional photo retouching. Beyond traditional editing, our client is seeking someone with a genuine curiosity for AI-driven tools to optimize creative workflows. This position is ideal for a self-motivated storyteller who is eager to grow into a multifaceted role involving client liaison, project management, and creative automation.

Schedule

• Flexible during client business hours within the Sydney timezone (20 hours per week) 

Responsibilities

• Video Production: Edit and produce high-quality video content for freelance clients and YouTube channels using DaVinci Resolve.
• Photo Enhancement: Retouch and enhance photos to maintain visual consistency across projects using Lightroom and Photoshop.
• Client Liaison: Communicate with clients via email, provide project updates, and manage revision requests professionally.
• AI Integration: Explore and implement AI-driven tools to optimize creative workflows and creative automation.
• Business Support: Assist with client outreach and prospecting to help maintain and grow ongoing client relationships.
• Project Management: Manage tasks and project timelines using ClickUp and coordinate daily via Slack.
• Website Collaboration: Contribute to AI exploration for website development projects.

Requirements

• Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in video editing, with a distinct preference for DaVinci Resolve.
• Visual Suite: Proven experience with photo editing tools including Lightroom and Photoshop.
• Communication: Strong written communication skills for professional and effective client correspondence.
• AI Curiosity: A genuine interest in AI technologies and a willingness to master emerging creative tools.
• Attention to Detail: High level of precision and a passion for compelling visual storytelling.
• Mindset: Positive attitude, self-motivated, and eager to take on administrative responsibilities as the role expands.
