Job Overview
We are looking for a creative and data-driven Social Media Specialist to develop and execute strategies that increase brand awareness and drive qualified traffic. The ideal candidate will create engaging content, manage paid campaigns, and optimize performance across multiple platforms. This role requires strong storytelling skills, attention to detail, and experience promoting product-based or niche brands.
Schedule: Mon to Friday - 9am to 5pm GMT (UK)
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness and drive qualified traffic to the website
- Create engaging, platform-specific content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and X that showcases the product range
- Manage and optimise paid social media advertising campaigns to ensure efficient ad spend and qualified lead generation
- Monitor social media performance metrics and adjust strategies based on data-driven insights
- Research and identify new marketing channels and opportunities to reach target audiences beyond traditional search advertising
- Maintain a consistent posting schedule and brand voice across all active social media platforms
Requirements:
- Proven mid-level experience in social media marketing, preferably with physical or home/furniture products (APPLICATIONS WITH PORTFOLIOS WILL BE PRIORITIZED)
- Demonstrated ability to develop marketing strategies that build product awareness for niche or luxury items
- Experience managing paid advertising campaigns with a focus on optimising spend and targeting qualified traffic
- Strong creative and visual storytelling skills suited to product-based content
- High level of attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong written communication skills and understanding of audience engagement techniques
Scope:
- Full-time role (40+ hours per week) supporting a two-person custom concrete dining table manufacturing business based in the UK
- Manage all social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and X
- Evaluate current marketing efforts and propose a refreshed strategy to replace costly and underperforming Google and Facebook ad spend
- Focus on awareness-driven content creation for a product that relies on discovery rather than active consumer search
- Collaborate directly with the business owner to align marketing output with sales goals
