E-Commerce Support Specialist (Gorgias, Shopify, Ship Hero)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a full-time E-Commerce Support Specialist to join the team ahead of a major birthday sale event. The role involves handling customer inquiries primarily through email and managing returns through specialized e-commerce platforms. The position requires proficiency with specific customer service and warehouse management software systems. Training will be provided before the upcoming sale period to ensure smooth integration with the existing customer support team.

Client Overview:

Our client is an established women's activewear company based in Western Australia, approaching their fifth year of operation. They operate both online and through five physical retail stores, with 65% of revenue generated through their e-commerce platform and 35% through brick-and-mortar locations. The company manages all operations, including customer support, warehouse, and logistics, from its central facility in Perth.

Schedule:

  • Mondays to Fridays, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (Australian Western Time, 40 hours per week)

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries and support requests primarily through email using Gorgias software
  • Manage customer returns and exchanges through the Loop returns portal
  • Process orders and handle customer account issues through the Shopify platform
  • Coordinate with the warehouse team using the Ship Hero system for order fulfillment and tracking issues
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction standards during regular operations and peak sale periods

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with the Gorgias customer service platform
  • Demonstrated proficiency with the Loop returns management system
  • Minimum 2-5 years of customer support experience in an e-commerce environment
  • Experience with the Shopify e-commerce platform
  • Familiarity with the Ship Hero warehouse management system
