Overview:

This is a hybrid role combining travel operations, content creation, and itinerary design. The role involves building and managing client itineraries using Travefy, ensuring outputs are accurate, well-presented, and client-ready.

Role Classification:

This role sits across three areas:

• Travel Operations (Primary)

• Content / Creative Execution (Secondary)
• Light Technical Platform Management (Supporting)

It is not an admin role, as it does not focus on calendar/email management, executive support, or general VA tasks.

Schedule:

• Mondays to Fridays, 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm (Australian Eastern Time, 20 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and manage end-to-end travel itineraries (flights, accommodation, transfers, activities)
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all bookings and travel documentation
• Convert booking details into clear, engaging client itineraries
• Write destination content, including local tips, dining suggestions, cultural insights, and travel advice
• Use Travefy to build, format, and maintain itineraries and templates
• Maintain consistency, structure, and high-quality presentation across all itineraries
• Review all documentation for accuracy and attention to detail
• Suggest improvements to itinerary structure, templates, and client experience

Requirements:

• Proven experience in the travel industry (agency, tour operator, or similar)
• Strong understanding of travel components (flights, accommodation, transfers, touring)
• Hands-on experience with Travefy
• Experience creating client-facing travel itineraries or travel content
• Experience with Canva or similar tools
• Strong written English with a client-ready, engaging style
• Close attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple itineraries simultaneously
• Able to work independently with strong ownership and time management
