Admin and Sales Support Administrator

Schedule: (Monday to Friday) 9am – 6pm UK Time, One (1) hour unpaid daily break 

About the Role

We are looking for a well-organized and enthusiastic Administrator – Quality & Technical to join our team. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys administration, keeping records accurate, following processes, and supporting a busy department.

No previous quality or technical experience is required, as training will be provided. The most important qualities are strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

The Administrator – Quality & Technical will support the team by helping to maintain accurate product, supplier, testing, and complaint records. Duties will include:

  • Managing and keeping Product Technical folders up to date.
  • Monitoring supplier audit records and ensuring factory accreditation records are current.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date product records.
  • Providing the Facilities & Testing Administrator with product information and Gold Seal product samples for Technical Folder records and storage.
  • Supporting the product testing process, including completing required forms, reviewing quotes, chasing results, and reconciling invoices against quotes.
  • Recording customer complaints, responding to consumers where required, and highlighting any complaint trends to the Operations Director.
  • Keeping Gold Seal documentation and samples up to date and complete.
  • Creating and maintaining spreadsheets to track product testing and related information.
  • Chasing suppliers, sites, and testing houses for outstanding information.
  • Supporting Product Developers with product information and administrative tasks.

Skills and Attributes

The successful candidate will be:

  • Well organized and able to manage multiple tasks.
  • Accurate with good attention to detail.
  • Confident using email, spreadsheets, and basic office systems.
  • A good communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable chasing information from suppliers, factories, and testing houses.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willing to learn about quality, technical records, product testing, and supplier documentation.

Experience Required

Previous experience in a similar role is not essential. Full training will be provided.
