Role Overview:
We are seeking a results-driven Sales Representative to manage inbound leads, follow up on estimates, and convert service opportunities into booked jobs.
This role focuses on warm lead conversion, upselling, and proactive follow-ups, ensuring no opportunity is missed, and customers receive timely, helpful guidance on their service needs.
Company Overview:
A growing home services business specializing in exterior property maintenance, including roofing, gutters, and related repairs. The company operates multiple field crews and generates consistent inbound demand, with a strong focus on improving sales conversion and maximizing revenue from existing opportunities.
Schedule:
- Mondays to Fridays, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm—aligned with Canadian business hours (Eastern Time-Canada, 40 hours per week)
Scope:
- Handle all outbound follow-up calls to existing and prospective customers
- Serve as the primary point of contact for converting inbound leads into booked jobs
- Transfer technical or complex service questions to in-house specialists when needed
- Track and manage customer communications and estimate follow-ups
- Support revenue growth by closing additional work identified by field crews while on-site
Responsibilities:
- Follow up with customers after estimates are sent to answer questions, address concerns, and move them toward a buying decision
- Contact customers proactively when field crews identify additional repair needs (e.g., missing shingles, cracked eavestroughs, leaking downpipes) to educate them on the issue and present solutions
- Manage and nurture inbound leads to maximize conversion rates and prevent opportunities from going cold
- Upsell customers on additional services and enroll them in recurring programs such as seasonal cleaning packages
- Conduct post-job satisfaction calls to ensure customer happiness and identify further service opportunities
- Coordinate with field maintenance crews via WhatsApp to receive on-site findings and translate them into customer-facing sales conversations
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a sales or customer-facing role, preferably involving warm or inbound leads
- Strong verbal communication skills with fluent, clear English
- Outgoing and personable demeanor with the ability to build rapport quickly over the phone
- Ability to educate customers on service needs in a consultative, non-aggressive sales approach
- High level of attention to detail when managing multiple leads and follow-ups
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and stay on top of tasks without constant supervision
