Job Description
You’ll take the lead on a sophisticated e-commerce operation, managing a custom Shopify platform that represents a major investment in the client’s digital growth strategy. This is your opportunity to work directly with a hands-on business owner who values expertise and is committed to finding the right long-term partner. You’ll have the autonomy to optimize operations, implement marketing strategies, and directly impact business growth across multiple ventures.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize Shopify web store operations and functionality
• Handle comprehensive inventory management within the Shopify ecosystem
• Develop and execute Shopify marketing campaigns and strategies
• Support ongoing custom Shopify build-out optimization and enhancements
• Take ownership of delegated e-commerce tasks to streamline business operations
• Collaborate directly with the business owner on strategic e-commerce decisions
• Monitor store performance and implement improvements for better conversion
• Ensure seamless customer experience across all touchpoints

Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience with Shopify platform management
• Proven expertise in Shopify marketing tools and campaign execution
• Strong background in e-commerce store operations and inventory management
• Experience working with custom Shopify builds and advanced functionality
•  Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining regular communication
• Bonus if you have experience with multi-business or retail operations
• It helps if you’re comfortable working directly with business owners and entrepreneurs
• Hands-on experience creating and maintaining Shopify metafields and metaobjects
• Comfortable using Matrixify (Excelify) for bulk product and metafield management
• Experience supporting Shopify filtering via metafields (Search & Discovery)
• Experience or knowledge in AI-driven workflow automation using tools like N8N, Google Gemini, or similar AI tools to streamline daily spreadsheet tasks and Shopify product creation
• System Compatibility: Must have a computer compatible with Windows-based software and required security protocols.
