Schedule

• Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM PST (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review U.S. individual tax returns, Form 1040, including multi-state filings
• Prepare business tax returns, Forms 1120S, 1065, and 1120
• Review bookkeeping and post adjusting journal entries when needed
• Handle K-1 analysis and basis tracking
• Assist with extensions and quarterly estimates
• Identify basic tax planning opportunities and flag for review
• Communicate questions clearly within our internal team and with clients
• Follow firm checklists and documentation standards

Requirements

• Strong experience preparing both business and individual U.S. tax returns
• Experience with multi-state filings preferred
• Experience with QuickBooks Online
• Experience with ProConnect or similar tax software

Side Note

This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits. Professional hourly fees are established based on your performance in the application process.
