Job Overview

Our client is looking for a Customer Relations & Retention Virtual Assistant to manage ongoing client communication, strengthen relationships, and identify opportunities to retain and grow accounts. This role is focused on client satisfaction, proactive check-ins, and identifying upsell opportunities—not just support.

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday, flexible during client business hours, CT (20 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular client check-ins (email, phone, or Zoom)
  • Build relationships with clients and act as a point of contact
  • Ask clients about business updates (new services, hiring, expansion, etc.)
  • Current performance and satisfaction
  • Identify opportunities to improve results
  • Add additional services (SEO, ads, social media, etc.)
  • Track client feedback and communicate it internally to the team
  • Monitor client engagement and flag any at-risk accounts
  • Ensure clients feel supported, informed, and valued
  • Assist with onboarding new clients (welcome emails, initial check-ins)
  • Maintain accurate notes and updates in CRM (HubSpot or similar)

Requirements

  • Experience in customer service, account management, or client success
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain professional relationships
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable handling multiple clients at once
  • Experience with CRM systems GoHighLevel
  • Ability to identify problems and communicate solutions clearly

Qualifications

  • Experience working with marketing agencies or digital marketing services
  • Experience in upselling or account growth
  • Familiarity with SEO, paid ads, or social media marketing
  • Experience with Zoom calls and client-facing meetings

  • Reduction in client churn

This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
