Role Overview:
As a Lead Generator / Appointment Setter, you will be responsible for identifying potential clients, conducting outbound outreach, and securing qualified appointments with decision-makers in target industries. You will use prospecting tools to source leads and engage logistics managers through cold calling and cold email campaigns.
This role requires confidence in outbound communication, persistence in lead generation efforts, and strong organisational skills to manage outreach activities effectively. You will work closely with the internal team while developing a strong understanding of the company’s sales and closing process.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Identify potential customers within the food, agriculture, machinery, and auto parts industries
- Utilize Apollo.io to research and generate prospect lists
- Maintain organised lead tracking records
- Identify key decision-makers such as logistics managers and supply chain leaders
Cold Outreach
- Conduct outbound cold calls to introduce services and qualify prospects
- Manage cold email campaigns to engage potential customers
- Follow structured outreach processes to generate consistent opportunities
- Communicate the value proposition clearly and professionally
Appointment Setting
- Schedule qualified meetings with prospective clients
- Manage calendar bookings and ensure accurate meeting details
- Ensure smooth handoff of qualified prospects to the sales team
- Maintain consistent follow-up communication
Sales Development
- Learn the company’s sales and closing processes
- Develop industry knowledge related to freight and logistics services
- Maintain accurate CRM records of outreach activity
- Contribute to improving outreach messaging and targeting strategies
Requirements:
- 2–5 years of experience in sales, lead generation, or appointment setting
- Experience in the freight, logistics, or supply chain industry preferred
- Strong proficiency with Apollo.io or similar CRM and outreach tools
- Strong communication and persuasion skills
- Confidence in conducting cold calls and cold email outreach
- Highly organised with strong follow-up discipline
- Result-oriented mindset with focus on generating qualified leads
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Bilingual English and Spanish preferred but not required
