Schedule

Responsibilities

  • Full-Cycle Accounting: Manage complete bookkeeping across multiple entities; perform financial cleanup to ensure records are current and accurate; maintain a structured chart of accounts.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Oversee vendor payments and track incoming revenue; handle complex multi-entity invoicing requirements and monitor outstanding balances.
  • Reconciliation & Reporting: Perform regular account reconciliations and maintain real-time accuracy in QuickBooks Enterprise; provide bi-weekly updates on financial status.
  • Compliance & Audit: Ensure all processes align with GAAP standards; identify discrepancies proactively and support financial audits as required.
  • Data Management: Utilize advanced Excel for financial analysis and data validation; maintain organized documentation in a remote cloud environment.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows and improve reporting consistency across the organization.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of advanced accounting experience with a strong background in full-cycle bookkeeping.
  • QuickBooks Expertise: Expert-level proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise Suite.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills for financial modeling and data analysis.
  • Accounting Standards: Strong, fundamental understanding of GAAP principles.
  • Analytical Skills: High attention to detail and the ability to resolve complex financial discrepancies independently.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal English communication skills for stakeholder updates.
  • Logistics: Reliability in a remote work environment and availability for the required Pacific Time overlap.

This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement.
