Full Stack Developer (WordPress & Webflow Specialist)

Role Overview

We are looking for a versatile Full Stack Developer to lead the development and deployment of 2-3 short-term website projects. The ideal candidate is a WordPress expert with a strong understanding of WooCommerce and Webflow, capable of managing the entire lifecycle of a project—from front-end design implementation to back-end configuration and cloud hosting deployment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Web Development: Build and maintain high-quality websites using WordPress (Primary) and Webflow.
  • E-commerce Integration: Configure and customize WooCommerce environments for seamless online shopping experiences.
  • Infrastructure Management: Deploy and manage applications across various hosting environments, including SiteGround, Vercel, AWS, and Cloudflare.
  • Performance Optimization: Ensure all websites are optimized for speed, security, and scalability using Cloudflare and best-practice server configurations.
  • End-to-End Delivery: Manage 2-3 concurrent short-term projects, ensuring they meet deadline requirements and technical specifications.

Technical Qualifications

  • CMS Expertise: Deep proficiency in WordPress (Themes, Plugins, Custom Post Types) and Webflow.
  • E-commerce: Proven experience setting up and Troubleshooting WooCommerce.
  • DevOps & Hosting: * Experience with managed hosting (SiteGround).
    • Familiarity with serverless/static deployments (Vercel).
    • Basic cloud infrastructure knowledge (AWS).
    • DNS and Security management (Cloudflare).
  • Frontend Skills: Strong command of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript to ensure pixel-perfect responsive designs.
  • Backend Skills: Proficiency in PHP (for WordPress) and experience managing databases and API integrations.

Preferred Soft Skills

  • Efficiency: Ability to work quickly and effectively on short-term, high-impact projects.
  • Autonomy: A self-starter who can take a project from a brief to a live URL with minimal supervision.
  • Multitasking: Comfortable juggling 2-3 distinct web projects simultaneously.

  • This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
