Job Overview
Our client is seeking a seasoned HR & People Operations Manager to lead their internal human resources and training functions. This is a high-impact role requiring a specialized expert who can take full ownership of the BambooHR ecosystem. You will be responsible for everything from payroll processing and staff communication to the strategic documentation of training requirements. The ideal candidate blends deep technical proficiency in HRIS platforms with the "soft skills" necessary to maintain a positive, collaborative team culture.

Responsibilities
- BambooHR Management: Serve as the primary administrator for all HR functions within BambooHR, including managing employee records, time-off requests, and payroll processing.
- Staff Communication: Act as the first point of contact for day-to-day staff inquiries, responding to HR-related queries with professionalism and speed.
- Training & Development: Assess individual staff training needs and document specific requirements for career growth and compliance.
- Educational Coordination: Research and enroll employees in relevant training programs; coordinate with on-island trainers, vendors, and facilitators via email.
- Digital Organization: Maintain and organize the company’s general office files and documentation within the SharePoint environment.
- Team Engagement: Facilitate and help coordinate daily morning huddles to ensure team alignment and positive momentum.
- General Administration: Provide high-level administrative support across the team to ensure operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Technical Mastery: 5–7+ years of hands-on BambooHR experience (this is a non-negotiable requirement).
- Microsoft 365 Proficiency: Expert-level skills in Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and Excel.
- Organizational Excellence: Exceptional organizational skills with a meticulous approach to detail and documentation.
- Communication: Strong written communication skills, particularly in coordinating complex logistics with external vendors via email.
- Mindset: A positive attitude and collaborative spirit; ability to lead huddles and engage staff effectively.
- Self-Management: Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining strict confidentiality.

This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement.
