Job Overview

You’ll be the vital first connection between life-changing coaching services and people actively seeking career transformation. This isn’t just appointment setting – you’re helping identify individuals who are genuinely ready to invest in their professional growth, whether that’s finding a new career, starting a business, or breaking free from unfulfilling work. You’ll work directly with an experienced business owner who understands the coaching industry and will provide clear targeting guidance to ensure your efforts generate high-quality, motivated prospects.

Schedule: 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, flexible during business hours.

Client Timezone: Australian Eastern Time (Sydney)

Independent Contractor Perks

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily research to build targeted prospect lists of individuals seeking career changes or business startup guidance
  • Perform strategic cold calling to engage prospects who are actively looking to transform their professional situation
  • Set high-quality appointments with qualified leads who demonstrate genuine interest in coaching services
  • Target people who are unhappy with their current career trajectory or exploring entrepreneurial opportunities
  • Maintain detailed records of outreach activities and appointment outcomes for continuous improvement
  • Collaborate directly with the business owner to refine targeting criteria and optimize appointment quality
  • Provide insights and suggestions for enhancing lead generation processes based on prospect feedback
  • Work toward monthly performance targets with potential for commission-based rewards

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in lead generation, appointment setting, and telemarketing with measurable results
  • Strong cold calling abilities with confidence engaging prospects about sensitive career topics
  • Experience using phone dialers, CRM systems, and lead management platforms
  • Reliable home office setup with high-speed internet and professional phone capabilities
  • Self-motivated work style with ability to operate independently while meeting clear performance metrics
  • Bonus if you have familiarity with career coaching, business coaching, or professional development industries
  • It helps if you understand the mindset of people considering major career transitions
  • Bonus if you have experience with commission-based sales roles and target achievement

Side Note

  • This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits. Professional hourly fees are established based on your performance in the application process.
