A fast-growing company in the lithium-ion battery manufacturing space, currently in its early growth stage with a small, close-knit team. The business is scaling quickly and managing a growing pipeline of potential customers, creating the need for structured operational support to improve efficiency and coordination across procurement, administration, and project activities.
Job Description
The Operations Coordinator will support the day-to-day running of the business by handling procurement coordination, administrative tasks, and basic financial and project support. This role is ideal for someone organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities may evolve.
You will play a key role in helping the team stay structured and efficient as the business continues to grow.
Schedule:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 11 AM to 3 PM UK time;
Thursday 1 PM to 5 PM UK time
Key Responsibilities
- Create and send purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery
- Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to support smooth procurement processes
- Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and organise daily activities
- Handle general administrative tasks and business support activities
- Book travel arrangements as required
- Conduct online research to support business needs
- Create and send invoices to customers
- Maintain and organize project folders and documentation
- Provide general support across operations to improve efficiency
- Assist with basic marketing tasks such as creating simple graphics using Canva (if required)
Requirements (Skills)
- Experience in operations, administration, or coordination roles
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
- Comfortable working with suppliers and coordinating tasks across teams
- Basic experience with invoicing or financial admin tasks is an advantage
- Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Canva is a plus

- This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
