Job Description:

You’ll play a crucial role in transforming how medical practices understand and manage their finances. Working with cutting-edge financial planning software, you’ll help healthcare providers gain control over their practice finances while supporting a system that makes a real impact on the success of medical businesses. Client Overview:

A growing financial management company that specializes in serving medical practices across the United States. They’ve built proprietary financial planning software with API integrations to multiple accounting platforms, helping doctors gain clarity and control over their practice finances. The company serves 120+ medical practice clients and is scaling its bookkeeping operations to support continued growth.

Schedule:

• Mondays to Fridays, 7:00 to 11:00 am (US Pacific Time, 20 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean up and organize charts of accounts for medical practice clients
• Manage ongoing bookkeeping for 15-20 assigned medical practice clients
• Work across multiple accounting software platforms, including QuickBooks Online, Xero, and other systems
• Ensure accurate financial data entry and categorization for healthcare clients
• Prepare financial records that integrate seamlessly with proprietary financial planning software
• Maintain organized and compliant financial records for medical practices
• Support the scaling of bookkeeping operations as the client base grows

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of bookkeeping experience
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (primary platform for 70% of clients)
• Experience with Xero and other accounting software platforms
• Strong understanding of the chart of accounts setup and cleanup processes
• Bonus if you have experience with medical practice bookkeeping
• It helps if you’re familiar with API-integrated financial management systems
• You bring strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
